This is a type of therapeutic service where an individual meets one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore and address personal challenges. These sessions can take place in-person or virtually, offering flexibility to suit the individual’s needs. During the sessions, the therapist and individual discuss thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and any other issues the individual feels the need to process. The focus is on building a safe, trusting, and confidential relationship, allowing the individual to gain insights, develop coping strategies, and work towards personal growth and healing. Whether in-person or virtual, the therapeutic relationship fosters direct, meaningful interaction between the individual and therapist.
This is a therapeutic approach where family members come together to address issues affecting their relationships and dynamics. Using Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Tree of Life Narrative Therapy, we focus on improving communication, emotional connection, and mutual understanding within the family unit. EFFT helps families identify and process underlying emotions, fostering healthier relationships and secure emotional bonds. Tree of Life empowers individuals to reframe their personal stories, supporting them in understanding their roles within the family. This collaborative process promotes healing, conflict resolution, and stronger family connections.
Couples Therapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help partners in both monogamous and non-monogamous relationships strengthen their connection, improve communication, and navigate challenges together. This service is inclusive of all family structures, including heterosexual, LGBTQIA2S+, and other diverse relational dynamics. Whether for relationship or marriage counselling, the focus is on enhancing communication, deepening emotional intimacy, resolving conflicts, and fostering mutual understanding. Couples therapy provides a safer, supportive space for partners to explore their needs, build stronger foundations, and work towards healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
