Shayla is experienced in play therapy with children and psychotherapy with adolescents and adults. She has also successfully utilized sand play therapy with people of different ages.
She is a registered Social Worker, who holds a Bachelor & Masters in Social Work along with a certificate in Refugee and Migration Studies from York University.
She has been empowering children, youth, individual adults and families of diverse backgrounds to transform their emotional distress into hope, healing and wellness for the past 11 years. Grounded in faith and the spirit of Ubuntu (humanity), Shayla approaches her work from a non judgmental place of kindness and compassion, helping you to live your best life.
